Which devices have eSIM functionality? From iPhones to the latest tablets – find out which devices have a built in eSIM

So, you’ve heard about eSIM and want in on the action… good call! Not only is an eSIM the ultimate travel hack to avoid big data roaming charges, it opens up a whole world of travel opportunities whether your trip is for business or pleasure.

If you have a recent device from any of the leading manufacturers, it’ll very likely have eSIM functionality built in. Most of the latest models from Apple, Google and Samsung come straight out of the box with an eSIM, including all iPhone 12 models.
But at the time of writing, devices made by HTC, Xiaomi, Honor, RealMe, OnePlus and Vivo are not eSIM compatible.

Do also make sure to double check with the manufacturer or the retailer you buy your handset from that it is eSIM compatible.
